Marvel Snap's Amazing Spider-Season Swings into Action!

Marvel Snap Season Pass Art

Following the Young Avengers season, Marvel Snap (Free) unleashes its new season: an Amazing Spider-Season! While Bonesaw might be absent this time, exciting new cards and locations are here to shake up the meta. The biggest change? A brand new card ability type: Activate!

New Cards Showcase

Activate abilities let players choose when to trigger a card's effect, offering strategic flexibility and avoiding On Reveal counters. This season's card lineup fully utilizes this exciting mechanic. Check out the official season reveal video below for a full look:

Season Pass Star: Symbiote Spider-Man

The Season Pass card, Symbiote Spider-Man (4-Cost, 6-Power), boasts an Activate ability that absorbs the lowest-cost card at its location and copies its text, even triggering On Reveal effects again! Expect this card to be a powerful force, likely requiring a nerf before the season ends.

Other Notable Additions:

  • Silver Sable: (1-Cost, 1-Power) On Reveal: Steals 2 Power from the top card of your opponent's deck.
  • Madame Web: (Ongoing): Allows moving one card at her location once per turn.
  • Arana: (1-Cost, 1-Power) Activate: Moves the next card played to the right and gives it +2 Power. A potential staple for move-based decks.
  • Scarlet Spider (Ben Reilly): (4-Cost, 5-Power) Activate: Spawns an identical clone at another location.

New Card: Arana

New Locations:

  • Brooklyn Bridge: Players can't place cards here two turns in a row, demanding creative deck building.
  • Otto's Lab: The next card played here pulls a card from the opponent's hand into play.

New Location: Otto's Lab

This Spider-themed season brings exciting new mechanics and strategic depth to Marvel Snap. The Activate ability opens up a whole new level of gameplay.
