Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

After leaving the Lesser Zone, your journey continues into the challenging Garbage area. Due to the distance from your starting base, encountering traders in this region will take time.

Initially, quest markers won't directly guide you to the Slag Heap hub. Progressing the main storyline is key; completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest unlocks its location. This involves visiting the Detention Center and Laboratory before meeting Scar.

The Slag Heap, situated north of the laboratory, is accessible earlier if desired. Within this hub, two traders await:

Boozer: Located at the entrance, Boozer runs a bar, selling food and drinks while accepting various trade goods. He's hard to miss.
Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door on your right, Huron specializes in weapons and equipment. His room also houses your stash. Interacting with him initiates a side quest.

While not a trader, a Tech is also present at the back of the left corridor. A conversation with Diode (required for the main quest) will inevitably lead you to him.
