Exciting news for console gamers! The highly anticipated skate., the latest installment in the popular skateboarding franchise, is now available for playtesting on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Via the official skate. Twitter account, Xbox and PlayStation players can now participate in the playtest via the skate. Insider program (registration required). A recent video featuring developers offered a glimpse into the development process, confirming more Black hairstyle options and playfully addressing the "Fall 2024" playtest announcement.
Confirmed as a free-to-play, live-service title, details on skate.'s full features remain limited. The game is set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, a work-in-progress inspired by San Vanelona, Port Carverton, and real-world locations. While a map version leaked in 2023, significant changes are likely. Fans can register for the playtest or patiently await the wider release.
