Console Playtesting is Underway!
Secure Beta Access and Exclusive Rewards
Announced in June 2020, with periodic updates, skate. is finally available for playtesting on PlayStation and Xbox consoles. While a PC beta release date remains unconfirmed, fans can register as Insiders to receive updates.
According to the game's official X (formerly Twitter) account, console playtesting has been ongoing since at least December, possibly even September, as evidenced by a recent highlight reel. However, developer Full Circle actively encourages further registrations as development continues.
To participate in the beta, visit EA's website, navigate to the skate. page, and register for Skate Insider Playtesting. Early access testers (Insiders) will receive exclusive in-game rewards, including a unique skateboard and stickers, upon the Early Access launch.
skate. is slated for Early Access release sometime in 2025. This latest installment in the franchise, nearly a decade after Skate 3, will be available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Set in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, it's designed as a free-to-play, live-service game promising an "authentic evolution" of the nearly 20-year-old series, as detailed in a previous Full Circle YouTube interview.
