Eclipse Glow Games Unveils "Tides of Annihilation," a New Action-Adventure Title

Revealed at Sony's 2025 State of Play event, Tides of Annihilation is a single-player action-adventure game boasting intense combat, a gripping narrative, and a unique setting. Developed by the Chengdu-based studio Eclipse Glow Games (backed by Tencent), this title promises an unforgettable experience.

The game plunges players into a modern-day London ravaged by otherworldly forces. Players assume the role of Gwendolyn, exploring iconic landmarks and battling enemies inspired by Arthurian mythology. A key gameplay element involves summoning spectral Knights of the Round Table to aid in combat against formidable foes, including skyscraper-sized bosses.

Eclipse Glow Games, a new studio comprised of over 100 developers with experience on titles such as Yakuza, For Honor, Assassin's Creed, Persona, and Prince of Persia, is behind this ambitious project.

Lead Game Producer Kun Fu stated, "Debuting Tides of Annihilation at Sony State of Play is a huge achievement. We've crafted a world that reimagines Arthurian legend, blending courage, loyalty, and heroism within an epic story set in a familiar yet strange London."
