Pokémon Go sees the return of Team Go Rocket for Fashion Week and Ho-Oh’s Shadow Raid Day

Pokémon GO's Fashion Week: Taken Over – A Stylish Showdown!

Get ready for a fashionable fight in Pokémon GO! Fashion Week: Taken Over runs from January 15th to 19th, bringing a stylish twist to the usual battles. This event offers a unique opportunity to challenge Giovanni and rescue Shadow Palkia. But that's not all! Shadow Ho-Oh awaits in a special Shadow Raid Day on January 19th.

Two new Pokémon make their debut: Shroodle and its evolution, Grafaiai. You can hatch Shroodle from 12 km Eggs. Team GO Rocket will be more active than ever, appearing at PokéStops and in balloons, providing ample chances to use Charged TMs to remove the Frustration move from your Shadow Pokémon.

A stylish selection of Shadow Pokémon returns, including Shadow Taillow, Snivy, Tepig, Oshawott, Trubbish, and Bunnelby. Keep an eye out for Shiny versions! For the first time, you can use Remote Raid Passes to participate in Shadow Raids, regardless of your location.

A special research task will lead you to a Super Rocket Radar, setting the stage for your battle with Giovanni and the rescue of Shadow Palkia. Field Research tasks offer rewards like Mysterious Components, Charged TMs, and Fast TMs. Complete a special Collection Challenge to earn Stardust and an encounter with Trubbish.

Ho-Oh Shadow Raid Day takes place on Sunday, January 19th, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. This event boosts your chances of encountering a Shiny Ho-Oh, provides extra Raid Passes, and allows Ho-Oh caught during this period to learn the devastating Charged Attack, Sacred Fire. A $5 event ticket unlocks even more rewards.
