Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held across three global cities in May and June:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

Further details regarding in-game events and activities will be revealed in March. Remember, event specifics are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.

This annual event offers trainers exclusive items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person attendees can enjoy unique city-specific features and activities. Tickets are required for participation, both in-person and online.

Expect the appearance of rare Pokémon unavailable through standard gameplay, increased Shiny Pokémon encounter rates, exclusive merchandise for in-person attendees, and community hubs for socializing. Think of it as a larger, more exciting version of past GO Fests.

Two More January Events!

In addition to the GO Fest announcement, Niantic revealed two more exciting events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over: January 15th (12:00 pm) - January 19th (8:00 pm) local time. Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni! Encounter the debuting Shroodle and Grafaiai from 12km Eggs, alongside other Shadow Pokémon like Snivy and Tepig. Keep an eye out for a fashionable Croagunk in snapshots!

Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh: January 19th (2:00 pm - 5:00 pm) local time. Participate in Five-Star Shadow Raids to capture Shadow Ho-Oh! A $5 USD ticket grants eight extra Raid Passes, increased chances for Rare Candy XL, 2x Stardust, 50% more XP from Raids, and a boosted Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate. Lucky trainers can teach their captured Ho-Oh the signature move, Sacred Fire, using a Charged TM.
