Path of Exile 2's Early Access allows players to delve into character customization through Ascendancies, offering specialized abilities beyond base classes. This guide details how to unlock and utilize these powerful enhancements.

Unlocking Ascendancies

Before accessing Ascendancy Classes, players must complete a Trial of Ascendancy. Currently, the Act 2 Sekhemas Trial and the Act 3 Trial of Chaos are available. Completing either unlocks Ascendancy selection and grants two passive Ascendancy Points. The earlier Sekhemas Trial is recommended for quicker access to enhanced abilities.

All Path of Exile 2 Ascendancy Classes (Early Access)

Early Access features six base classes, each with two Ascendancy options. More classes and Ascendancies are planned for full release.

Mercenary Ascendancies

• Witch Hunter: This Ascendancy boosts offensive and defensive capabilities, enhancing damage output with abilities like Culling Strike and No Mercy. Ideal for players who enjoy debuffing enemies for increased damage.

  

• Gemling Legionnaire: This option focuses on Skill Gems, allowing for extra skills and added buffs. Offers flexibility for customized builds.

  

Monk Ascendancies

• Invoker: Unleash elemental powers and inflict status effects, ideal for melee-focused elemental combat.

  

• Acolyte of Chayula: Embrace shadow powers, offering defensive, healing, and damage-boosting abilities. A unique, dark-themed playstyle.

  

Ranger Ascendancies

• Deadeye: Enhance ranged combat with increased attack speed, damage, and accuracy. Perfect for archer builds.

  

• Pathfinder: Master poison and elemental damage with abilities like Poisonous Concoction and Contagious Contamination. A unique alternative to traditional ranged builds.

  

Sorceress Ascendancies

• Stormweaver: Amplify elemental abilities with an Elemental Storm and increased damage output. A solid choice for elemental casters.

  

• Chronomancer: Manipulate time to control cooldowns and alter the flow of battle. Offers a dynamic and strategic playstyle.

  

Warrior Ascendancies
