Path of Exile 2: Sekhemas Trial Guide Live

This guide provides a walkthrough for unlocking and completing the Trial of the Sekhemas in Path of Exile 2. This endgame activity, similar to the Sanctum from the first game, offers valuable loot. However, it can prove challenging for less powerful characters. While not a main quest, it significantly contributes to early progression and loot acquisition.

Unlocking the Trial of the Sekhemas

To begin, you must defeat Balbala the Traitor, a formidable boss located in Traitor's Passage within Act 2. Her swift, powerful attacks can be difficult to counter early in the game. Upon defeating her, she drops Balbala's Barya, a crucial item for accessing the Trial.

After this victory, travel to the Trial of the Sekhemas via the Ardura travel map or waypoint. You'll find a ruined temple where Balbala, now acting as a guide, awaits. Place Balbala's Barya on the Relic Altar to initiate your Trial run.
