Netflix is adapting the acclaimed video game Sifu into a feature film. Initially announced in 2022 as a collaboration between Story Kitchen and Sloclap (the game's developer), the project has significantly expanded its production team. Deadline reports that T.S. Nowlin, writer of the Maze Runner franchise and Netflix's Project Adam, has joined to pen the screenplay. While Derek Kolstad's involvement remains unclear, Chad Stahelski (director of the John Wick films) and his production company, 87Eleven Entertainment, will serve as executive producers. Stahelski is also working on the Ghost of Tsushima film adaptation.
