NetEase's popular mobile horror game, Dead by Daylight Mobile, is officially ending its run. After four years, the Android version will be shutting down on March 20th, 2025. This news comes as a surprise to many fans of the 4v1 survival-horror title, a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive's successful PC and console game. The PC and console versions remain unaffected and will continue operation.
Dead by Daylight Mobile pitted players against each other in a thrilling game of cat and mouse. Players could choose to be either a Killer, hunting down Survivors for sacrifice, or a Survivor, desperately trying to escape.
Dead by Daylight Mobile's End Date and Beyond:
The game will be removed from app stores on January 16th, 2025. However, existing players can continue to enjoy the game until the official shutdown date in March. NetEase will provide details regarding refunds based on regional regulations on January 16th, 2025.
For those wanting to continue their Dead by Daylight experience, the PC and console versions offer a welcoming package for mobile players who switch platforms. Loyalty rewards will also be given to players who have made in-app purchases or accumulated significant experience points.
