Mortal Kombat Mobile Marks 10th Anniversary with New Diamond, Gold Characters

Mortal Kombat Mobile is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a monumental update scheduled for March 25th, courtesy of Warner Bros International and NetherRealm Studios. This update promises an exciting array of new features, including fresh fighters, a revamped Faction Wars, a new challenge tower, and a plethora of anniversary rewards.

Celebrate 10 Years of Brutal, Fast-Paced Kombat!

The spotlight of this update shines on the introduction of MK1 Geras as a new diamond-tier fighter. Geras comes equipped with an arsenal of abilities such as power absorption, healing, and damage reflection. To unlock him, players will need to engage in Realm Klash events or progress through the Kombat Pass.

Another exciting addition is Klassic Skarlet, the first gold-tier fighter that can be fully ascended to Level 5. Skarlet boasts unblockable attacks, a new Gash debuff, and the ability to steal blood droplets from enemies. Players can acquire her through either the Premium Plus Kombat Pass or the standard Kombat Pass.

The Faction Wars mode is undergoing a significant overhaul and is now known as Realm Klash. Players can now select from five different realms and compete over two-week seasons to earn Realm Points, rather than just fighting for Blood Rubies.

In honor of the 10th Anniversary, Mortal Kombat Mobile introduces new ranks: Elder God, God, and Demi God. Blood Ruby Packs now include Kameo offers alongside MK1 Geras rewards. The mode has also received a visual update, new banners, leaderboards, and fixes for old exploits.

New Challenges Await in the Mortal Kombat Mobile 10th Anniversary

The new Tower of Time presents an extreme challenge. This limited-time event, lasting two weeks, consists of 50 floors. Players can collect seven new Tower of Time equipment pieces, and MK1 Smoke and MK1 Geras will have their own Brutality equipment sets.

A Fusion Boost modifier is also introduced, enhancing the lowest fused card in your team to balance gameplay. Alongside the new tower, the Klassic Tower, Dark Queen’s Tower, and Black Dragon Tower are making a return.

To celebrate this significant milestone, players will receive a free copy of each character featured in the anniversary promo every day for 10 days, starting April 1st. Additionally, three gold-tier fighters—Lizard Jade, Edenian Blood Sindel, and Klassic Smoke—are now eligible for ascension.
