Merrill confessed that this MMO project currently consumes a significant portion of his time, highlighting his personal passion for the genre as a crucial element for its potential success. He also emphasized the strong desire among League of Legends players for deeper immersion within their beloved universe.

While details remain scarce, including a release date, Merrill playfully suggested a launch before humanity's first Martian landing. The feasibility of this prediction remains uncertain.

It's important to remember that another League of Legends-based game, the highly anticipated 2XKO fighting game, is also under development. Unlike the MMO, 2XKO boasts trailers and a projected release date before the year's end.
