Marvel Contest Of Champions Welcomes Patriot And The Leader To Murderworld

Marvel Contest of Champions unleashes the thrilling Murderworld event! Running until August 7th, this update introduces the X-Magica Showcase and the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, alongside bug fixes and balance adjustments.

Murderworld: A Deadly Carnival of Chaos

Arcade, the master of deadly amusement parks, has arrived in The Contest, bringing his twisted Murderworlds – theme parks designed for both entertainment and annihilation. Arcade's goal? To achieve the highest possible body count. Players must outsmart Arcade's deadly games, perhaps even collaborating to overcome his lethal carnival.

New Champions Take Center Stage

The Raft, the Battlerealm's maximum-security prison, is on lockdown due to a gamma radiation incident. The Summoner intervenes, encountering Patriot, who's in dire straits. Meanwhile, The Leader's gamma-enhanced intellect allows him to manipulate both heroes and villains with mind control.

Patriot (Eli Bradley), grandson of the original Super-Soldier, and co-founder of the Young Avengers, joins the fight on July 18th. The Leader (Samuel Sterns), a former chemical plant worker transformed into a super-genius villain by a gamma explosion, arrives on August 1st. Both champions bring unique abilities and challenges to the game.
