KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global Version Shuts Down, Is It Getting an Offline Version?

KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global Server Shutdown After 3.5-Year Run

Another gacha game bites the dust. KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global, developed by Sumzap and published by Nexon (later Sesisoft), officially ended its service on January 30th, marking the end of a 3.5-year run. While shorter than its Japanese counterpart's 5-year lifespan, this is a respectable duration, especially considering declining revenue in recent times.

The developers, having shifted focus to the Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade gacha game, ensured a proper send-off. This included recent voiced story updates, a final song release just three weeks prior to closure, and a December farewell livestream featuring Kazuma's voice actor. The Japanese version even went above and beyond by archiving its entire main story on YouTube, allowing players to revisit the antics of Kazuma and his companions.

Unfortunately, the Global version lacks an offline mode or dedicated YouTube archive. However, fans can still enjoy the complete story via the Japanese YouTube channel.

This concludes our coverage of the KonoSuba: Fantastic Days Global shutdown. Stay tuned for our next article covering Karrablast and Shelmet in Pokémon Go's February Community Day.
