The King of Fighters AFK launches early access in Canada and Thailand for Android and iOS

The King of Fighters AFK is now available in early access! Thai and Canadian players can download it today on Google Play and the iOS App Store. Early access players are guaranteed to recruit Mature from the Orochi Clan.

While the previous mobile title, King of Fighters Allstar, is no longer supported, this new AFK entry offers a retro RPG twist on the classic fighting franchise. Netmarble has confirmed that player progress will transfer to the full release.

King of Fighters AFK features iconic characters in a 5v5 battle system. Build your team and strategize for victory in this nostalgic mobile experience.

A Different Approach

KoF AFK faces a challenge in winning back fans. Unlike King of Fighters Allstar, which included popular crossovers (like WWE), KoF AFK adopts a distinct genre.

The game's Neo-Geo Pocket-inspired sprites and the guaranteed Mature recruitment (for early access players) may attract some players. However, it remains to be seen if this new direction will satisfy long-time fans.
