PlayStation Plus January 2025 Lineup: Suicide Squad, Need for Speed, and The Stanley Parable
The PlayStation Store now offers three free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in January 2025: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered, and The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe. These titles are redeemable until February 3rd.
This month's selection includes the controversial Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a significant PS5 title from Rocksteady Studios. All PlayStation Plus tiers (Essential, Extra, and Premium) receive these free games, adding them to their libraries as long as their subscription remains active. This follows December 2024's offerings of It Takes Two, Aliens: Dark Descent, and Temtem.
Key details about the January 2025 lineup:
-
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League: The largest download at 79.43 GB (PS5). Released in February 2024, this title offers a fresh opportunity for many PlayStation Plus users to experience it.
-
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered: Available on PS4 (31.55 GB). This is the only game without a native PS5 version, though playable via backwards compatibility. It doesn't utilize PS5 enhancements.
-
The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe: Available on both PS4 (5.10 GB) and PS5 (5.77 GB). This expanded version of the original game includes new features and accessibility options.
To download all three games on PS5, ensure you have at least 117 GB of free space. Sony is expected to announce February 2025's PlayStation Plus games towards the end of January. The service will also see numerous additions to the Extra and Premium catalogs throughout the year.
