Honkai: Star Rail Version 2.7: "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn" Launches, Concluding the Penacony Chapter

Honkai: Star Rail's Version 2.7 update, titled "A New Venture on the Eighth Dawn," has arrived, bringing the Penacony chapter to a close. This update introduces new characters, events, and features before the Astral Express journeys to Amphoreus, the Eternal Land.

This major update introduces two new 5-star characters:

• Sunday: A 5-star Imaginary character specializing in team synergy. His abilities boost ally damage and summon damage, with his ultimate providing regeneration and further damage amplification.
• Fugue: A reimagined 5-star Fire version of Tingyun. Mastering enemy defense shattering, Fugue weakens opponents regardless of vulnerabilities, simultaneously enhancing squadmates' Break Effect damage.

Returning characters Jing Yuan and Firefly are featured in a limited Warp event. Version 2.7 also adds new in-game features, including a relaxing Party Car and customizable Trailblazer quarters via the Cosmic Home Décor Guide event. Future updates are planned, including Version 3.0, which promises Relic system improvements, the Path of Remembrance storyline continuation, new memosprites, and a free 5-star character via the Gift of the Express event (available until Version 3.2).
