Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium Global Won’t Support Cross-Region Play

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium's Global Launch Details Unveiled!

MICA Team (Sunborn Network) has shared exciting news about the upcoming global release of their RPG, Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium. A recent Q&A video addresses player questions, clarifying several key aspects of the launch.

Server and Platform Differences

The global launch will utilize two server platforms: Darkwinter (Sunborn subsidiary) and Haoplay. While both offer identical game content, server transfers won't be possible. Darkwinter will use a dedicated PC launcher, while the Haoplay version will be available on Steam.

Global Launch Content

The global launch will not mirror the Chinese version's initial event schedule. To ensure a polished narrative, MICA Team will skip some early Chinese events requiring further story development—a strategy similar to Azur Lane Global's initial launch. The global server will debut with the "Sojourners of the Glass Island" event, offering the complete two-part story from the start. Skipped events may be added later.

Returning Skins and Potential Crossovers

The popular Groza "Sangria Succulent" skin is making a comeback! MICA Team also hints at more classic skin returns based on player feedback. Excitingly, potential crossovers with Neural Cloud and Gundam are being explored.
