Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 1 introduces Sprites, ethereal beings offering players helpful items and abilities. The Earth Sprite, the most beneficial but elusive, is found only in the new Chapter 6 map's main Battle Royale mode (including Zero Build and Ranked).
Earth Sprite Locations:
The Earth Sprite can spawn in approximately two dozen locations across the map. Only two will appear per match. A helpful visual guide, like the one from Perfect Score on YouTube (similar to the image below), pinpoints these potential spawn points. Note that the image below is a representation and may not be perfectly accurate to the current in-game map.
These locations generally include areas around:
- Flooded Frogs (North and Southwest)
- Magic Mosses (North and West)
- Demon's Dojo (Southeast)
- Whiffy Warf (Southeast)
- Pumped Power (Southeast)
- Twinkle Terrace (Southeast)
- Lost Lake (South)
- Brutal Boxcars (South)
- Eastern border (where green and brown biomes meet)
- Shining Span (Northwest and North)
- Seaport City (West and North)
- Burd (North)
- Warriors Watch (East)
- Foxy Floodgate (South)
- Canyon Crossing (West and West on the Snowy Mountain)
- Snowy Mountain (South and West)
- Masked Meadows and Hopeful Heights (Between)
- Hopeful Heights (North and Northeast)
Giving Weapons to the Earth Sprite:
Locating an Earth Sprite is the challenge. Once found, simply interact with it (using the designated interact button). This will transfer your currently equipped weapon to the Sprite, completing the Week 1 Quest and rewarding you with 25,000 XP. Your lost weapon is replaced with a random Legendary weapon.
Fortnite is available on various platforms, including Meta Quest 2 and 3.
