In a recent update, Square Enix revealed that Foamstars will transition to a free-to-play model starting October 4th, 2024, at 1:00 a.m. UTC. This means players will no longer need a PlayStation Plus subscription to enjoy the game. Currently priced at $29.99 for PS4 and PS5, the game will be available for free download.
