Dark & Darker Mobile slated for soft launch in Canada next month, release in first half of this year

Dark and Darker Mobile is poised for a Canadian soft launch on February 5th, with a global release anticipated in the first half of 2024. Pre-registration remains open.

Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular dungeon crawler is gearing up for its initial rollout in Canada. However, a worldwide launch is expected to follow shortly thereafter, sometime before July.

Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler gameplay. Players, solo or in parties, navigate a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to secure valuable loot. Characters encompass a diverse range of fantasy archetypes, including fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards.

Following the success of the PC version, Krafton acquired the mobile adaptation rights. Significant improvements are planned before the global launch.

Enhancements on the Horizon

Key updates include refinements to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, along with dungeon structural overhauls to enhance party coordination. Class distinctions will be sharpened through enhanced basic attacks and combat mechanics. Expect a broader selection of weapons and skills as well.
