Gamers have been buzzing about The Blood of Dawnwalker, often drawing parallels with The Witcher 4 due to the striking similarities in ambiance and style. This is hardly surprising, given that the project was crafted by former CD Projekt Red (CDPR) team members.

Following the release of the first trailer, the gaming community has been abuzz, speculating on which game might outshine the other. However, both the developers and their former colleagues at CDPR have been quick to dispel any notions of rivalry. An X user captured the sentiment perfectly:

"Dawnwalker looks amazing, just like The Witcher 4. Both works can coexist harmoniously. One game's success doesn't mean the other's demise. It's not a competition. Let's show respect."

Patrick K. Mills, a veteran from The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077, chimed in to reinforce the message of unity:

"Anyone who tries to pit these games against each other is misguided. The teams share a long history, we socialize together, game together, and our group chats are filled with mutual admiration. There's nothing but love and support here. Let the culture wars rage elsewhere; these games stem from a shared origin and uphold common values."

Philippe Weber, the narrative director for The Witcher 4, also highlighted the friendly connection between the teams, noting the shared creative influences:

"Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz and I were laughing today about how we both used the 'eyes in the dark' motif from the TV series Midnight Mass in our trailers as an early pitch. Many creators of these games are friends, and we are thrilled to see our friends succeed!"

Rebel Wolves, the studio behind The Blood of Dawnwalker, has set its sights on creating a new game series that can stand toe-to-toe with established franchises. Judging by the initial trailer, The Blood of Dawnwalker appears poised to become a project as impactful and impressive as CDPR's renowned titles.
