Hotta Studios' upcoming open-world RPG, Neverness to Everness, is gearing up for its first closed beta test – exclusively in mainland China. While international players won't be able to participate, Gematsu provides a sneak peek at recently revealed lore. The game expands on the previously shown city of Eibon, showcasing a blend of quirky humor and the unusual within the Hetherau setting.

This new title from the creators of Tower of Fantasy (Perfect World) enters a crowded 3D mobile RPG market, but boasts a unique feature: open-world driving. Players can purchase and customize various vehicles, experiencing realistic damage from collisions.

Neverness to Everness faces strong competition from established titles like MiHoYo's Zenless Zone Zero and NetEase's Ananta (formerly Project Mugen), both of which occupy similar niches in the 3D open-world RPG genre.
