Get ready for a paw-some Christmas treat! Brok the InvestiGator, the action-adventure game starring a certain reptilian detective, is getting a free, hour-long visual novel spin-off. This prequel to the main game, titled Brok Natal Tail Christmas, offers a heartwarming Christmas story, a departure from the original's beat 'em up gameplay.

The story follows Graff and Ott as they navigate a twisted version of Christmas, "Natal Untail," in their world of Atlasia. With a little help from Brok, they discover the true spirit of the holiday.

While not a full-fledged game, Brok Natal Tail Christmas introduces Cowcat's new Brokvn Engine and explores a new genre for the developer. The short playtime shouldn't be a deterrent, especially considering it's free.

A Point-and-Click Christmas Gift

Given its free nature and festive theme, criticizing the length of this visual novel would be unfair. Cowcat's willingness to experiment with a new genre is commendable.

There's little risk in trying Brok Natal Tail Christmas. Unless you actively dislike visual novels, there's no reason not to give this unique take on the holiday a try.
