AurumDust's latest tactical RPG, Ash of Gods: The Way, follows hot on the heels of Ash of Gods: Redemption. Already available on PC and Nintendo Switch, this card combat game is now open for pre-registration on Android.
What's New?
Building upon the tactical card combat and rich storytelling of its predecessors, Ash of Gods: The Way boasts refined visuals and gameplay. Players construct decks from four factions, utilizing warriors, gear, and spells. A diverse range of tournaments present unique challenges, battlefields, and rules. With two decks, five factions, and a staggering thirty-two potential endings, replayability is high.
The narrative follows Finn and his three-person crew as they navigate enemy territory, competing in war game tournaments. Engaging voice-acted visual novel segments enhance the story, featuring compelling dialogue and dynamic character interactions.
Four distinct deck types are unlockable and upgradeable, each with unique strengths: Berkanan, Bandit, the defensively-oriented Frisian, and the aggressive Gellian. Crucially, there are no penalties for altering upgrades or factions, encouraging experimentation. The focus is on character development and player choices rather than plot twists.
Pre-Registration and Release
Ash of Gods: The Way offers a compelling linear narrative with player agency in determining the war's outcome. Strong character arcs, such as Quinna's journey and the bond between Kleta and Raylo, enrich the story. Pre-registration is now live on the Google Play Store, with a free-to-play release anticipated within a couple of months. Stay tuned for official release date announcements.
