How to Play

Ludo is a classic dice and race game played with four pieces per player and a set of dice. Naija Ludo supports two players, each controlling eight pieces across two houses. The objective is to move all eight pieces to the home before your opponent does.

Movement of Pieces

The game begins with the player in the red house. A piece can only exit the house with a dice roll of 6, but once on the track, any dice outcome can move it. Pieces move from home to the center of the board across a track consisting of 56 steps. A piece can be removed from play either by completing the 56-step journey or by capturing an opponent's piece.

Piece Capture

Capture an opponent's piece by landing on the same block, sending their piece back home and removing yours from the board. The key to winning is to capture as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding capture. Note that a piece cannot capture if the remaining dice outcome cannot be used.

Important Notes

  1. A player can roll the dice consecutively multiple times if each roll results in a 6.
  2. The outcome of a dice roll must be played before rolling again, regardless of the result.
  3. For faster and smoother gameplay, enable the DIRECT COUNT option in settings.
