This is an engaging baseball home run competition played against a pitching machine. The game challenges you to hit home runs as you face a series of pitching machines that throw increasingly difficult pitches.
Initially, you'll encounter straightforward fastballs, but as you progress, the machines will start throwing curveballs and powerful magic balls, adding layers of challenge and excitement to the gameplay. Despite its simplicity, this game was incredibly popular during the Garake era and is recommended for both baseball enthusiasts and casual gamers alike.
September 2022 Update Information
With the latest update, you can now enjoy not only the original "Gachinko Home Run Tournament" and its sequel "Gachinko Home Run Tournament 2," but also the derivative games "Gachinko Magic Ball Competition" and "Gachinko Pitcher." These titles, previously available for a fee, are now free to play with the option to watch ads.
Gachinko Magic Ball Competition
This game takes the home run competition to the next level with an array of incredible magic balls. It introduces new titles and additional songs, enhancing the overall experience.
Gachinko Pitcher
In a twist from the usual home run competition, this game puts you in the pitcher's shoes, aiming to strike out batters. It features real baseball-style counts, ability growth, various pitches, and titles, offering long-term engagement.
Gachinko Home Run Tournament
Compete against rival high schools in Koshien with the goal of emerging victorious. In addition to controlling the batter, you can train a pitcher, albeit without pitching yourself. This version includes a variety of new magic balls not seen in previous home run competitions and now offers the option to switch between left and right-handed batting.
Gachinko Home Run Tournament 2
This sequel merges elements from both the home run competition and "Gachinko Pitcher," allowing you to control both batter and pitcher in a winner-takes-all tournament format. You can allocate experience points between the batter and pitcher as you see fit, and enjoy an even wider range of new magic balls, including those that can be thrown by the pitcher.
Alongside these new additions, we've made adjustments to the experience points across all games, including the original Gachinko Home Run Competition, and slightly tweaked the parameters to enhance the flight distance of the balls when hit.
