If you use both the FreeStyle LibreLink app and the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader with the same sensor, remember that alarms are exclusive to either the reader or the smartphone, not both simultaneously. To receive alarms on your smartphone, start the sensor with the app. Conversely, to receive alarms on the reader, initiate the sensor with the reader. Importantly, the app and reader do not share data, so to ensure comprehensive data collection, scan the sensor with your preferred device every 8 hours.
