Dive into the timeless charm of the Classic Tri Peaks solitaire card game, also known by the names Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks. This engaging solitaire variant uses a single deck with the goal of dismantling three towering peaks crafted from cards.

The game kicks off with eighteen cards laid out face-down on the tableau, constructing three pyramids, each consisting of three overlapping tiers. Above these pyramids, ten cards are displayed face-up, ready for action. The remaining twenty-four cards form the stockpile, from which the first card is drawn to start the waste pile.

To progress, you move cards from the tableau to the waste pile, provided they are either one rank higher or lower than the top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. This action could follow a sequence like 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, and so on, until no further moves are available. As you play, any face-down cards that are no longer covered are turned face-up, unveiling new opportunities to continue the game.
