The Game

Chinese checkers (also known as Sternhalma or Chinese chequers) is a popular German board game played on a star-shaped board by 2 to 6 players. Each player aims to move all their pieces from their starting corner to the opposite one. Learn more about the rules by clicking "Read rules" on the main screen.

Game Modes

Play online by matching with random opponents or creating private games with friends using game codes. Offline, challenge the computer (bots) or another player on the same device. Choose the number of players (e.g., you vs. one bot, or you vs. five bots).

Bots

Three bots are available: weak, medium, and strong. The weak bot makes frequent mistakes, ideal for beginners. The medium bot is significantly more challenging, while the strong bot provides the toughest competition.

Profile

Customize your profile (visible to other online players) by clicking the person icon in the bottom-right corner. Enter your name and choose an avatar.

Settings

Access settings via the gear icon on the main screen. Adjust:

• Interface sound volume (clicks, moves, game end, etc.)
• Background music volume
• Background music track
• Interface and game board themes
• Super Chinese Checkers mode (on/off)
• "Cheating" mode (show all possible destinations) –
