Chess Scanner

This chess score sheet scanner digitizes your games effortlessly. Simply scan your score sheets, and the app extracts the moves to create a digital record. A clear overview displays the score sheet alongside the generated moves, highlighting any potential inaccuracies with color-coded moves. Incorrect moves are easily corrected using the app's move suggestion feature.

Once the game is generated, you can categorize it, analyze it on Lichess or Chess.com (premium feature), or export it as a PGN file.

Scanning & Setup:

The built-in scanner or your device's gallery can be used to capture score sheets. You can even specify score sheets for both White and Black, making it ideal for tournament directors. The app supports multiple notations, including English, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Czech, and Slovak. While other notations can be entered, accuracy might be lower.

Game Generation & Refinement:

Game generation is quick (typically 1-10 seconds), though speed depends on score sheet legibility, game length, and your internet connection. Moves are sent to the app's servers for processing. You can manually adjust the move grid if needed. The game overview allows you to skip or insert moves, then regenerate the game to reflect your corrections. Add player and tournament information, along with descriptions, to enrich your game data.

Managing & Sharing Your Games:

All your games are displayed in an overview, filterable by tournament, round, and favorites. A search function helps locate games by player or description. Export filtered or individual games as PGN files (premium feature), customizing the data included (tournament, round, date, etc.). You can also import games via PGN files.

Analysis & Support:

Analyze your games directly in Lichess and now also Chess.com (premium feature). The app includes a help section with video tutorials and a support option for reporting issues.
